'Peace – The Solution for Humanity', 10-day Exhibition on Islam featuring 300 panels and 50 model displays, spread over 30,000 sq. ft. in A C pavilions Dates : 22nd to 31st October 2010     Timings : 10 am to 6 pm Venue : Somaiya Ground, off Eastern Express Highway, Sion (E), Mumbai, India Introduction Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, particularly in the West Today. With a following of more than 1.5 billion, Islam is also the second largest religion on the earth; which means one-fifth of the 6 billion people living in the world today are Muslims. Yet, surprisingly Islam remains a mystery in the minds of many. Objective In order to understand this large community of people, one needs to comprehend the religious belief that guides them. 'Peace - The Solution for Humanity', 10-day Exhibition on Islam, intends to do just that by presenting the ideology of Islam in its pristine purity. Specially designed pavilions, each one exclusively devoted to an aspect of Islam, will provide information on the religion. It is sincerely hoped that the awareness created by this educative exhibition will not only help dispel the misconceptions surrounding Islam but also enhance goodwill between Muslims and the people of other faiths.
